“REACH UP FOR THE STARS” YOUR SPECIAL MESSAGE SENT FOREVER

It is now possible to transmit your greetings, declarations, or heartfelt messages out into deep space

[ClickPress, Fri Nov 23 2007] Have you ever wondered how you can get a very special message to a loved one in a completely unique and powerful way? Is your message so significant that you would like it to be eternal? Thanks to the imagination of SentForever and the resources of Goonhilly - one of the original pioneering earth stations now owned by BT and located on the wonderful Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall, it is now possible to transmit your greetings, declarations, or heartfelt messages out into deep space. Your message literally is sent forever.

Forget posting cards, texting or sending rather impersonal email greetings, a special message sent into eternity is the most evocative and inspiring way to express your feelings.

So whether it’s a Christmas greeting, a birthday, a special anniversary, Valentine’s, a proposal, a memorial prayer, a good luck wish, a commitment, or simply a declaration of love or celebration, then all you have to do is go to www.sentforever.com and follow the simple instructions.

For just £9.95 there is a premium service where your recipient will receive a distinctive certificate as confirmation that your special message was transmitted into eternity. You will receive a confirmation message with a tracking number. Using this unique tracking number, you can see how far your message has travelled! Or, for those who are just curious, there is a free service where you can try it out.
Once you submit your message to SentForever, it is sent to the BT satellite transmission station at Goonhilly in Cornwall, one of the largest satellite earth stations in the world! BT then converts your message and transmits it in the form of radio waves into deep space using a dish which is providing this service. This dish, affectionately known as Lancelot, was originally built in 1978 to monitor transmissions from the European Space Agency’s test satellites.
Lancelot is a 19-metre diameter dish with a high power transmitter to send your message, which will travel through space forever. The radio waves will get weaker over time, but be assured that your message will travel for an eternity. Messages are normally transmitted the next working day after you submit them.
The SentForever concept came from Chris Thomason, chief ‘Imagineer’ at SentForever Ltd. “For special occasions in people’s lives, it can be a real challenge to find that extra special gift to express our level of commitment to show how important we view the other person”, said Chris. “At SentForever, we believe we have created something quite extraordinary which can be used in so many different ways and think that it really will make your special person feel wonderful.”
