[ClickPress, Fri Nov 23 2007] Extending the festive spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, New Jersey-based singer-songwriter DAN FERRARI and his band will perform a live acoustic performance right on your computer screen. The event takes place on Monday, November 26th as part of BlogTV’s New Artist Showcase “Music Monday.”
Beginning promptly at 7pm EST, you can log on to http://www.blogtv.com/People/danferrari and watch AND listen as FERRARI performs tracks from his forthcoming album Don’t Let It Fall (AtoZ Records). Following the live Internet set, stay tuned for a real-time webchat where FERRARI will answer questions posed from the BlogTV viewing audience.
FERRARI, already a prize winning songwriter, has won praise for his song, “Heard From You,” from the New York Songwriter’s Circle as well as the Songwriters Hall of Fame, garnering him a scholarship award.
BlogTV’s “Music Mondays” offers a great opportunity for musicians to obtain a worldwide audience by allowing artists to break through “the fourth wall” and connect directly with fans by building a relationship through a personal, casual, intimate concert right on their computer screen. FERRARI is excited to be one of the first artists to take part in this innovative concept, stating: “I love the fact that new modes of media allow me to virtually come into your living room and perform, which is my favorite aspect of the songwriting process.”
