Varitronix expands into the Benelux region

Heemskerk, The Netherlands, 26 November 2007. Varitronix Limited, a leading manufacturer of liquid crystal displays, has opened an office in The Netherlands to serve the Benelux region. The team will be led by Jeroen Kaptein, Sales Manager with support from Maurice Hachmang.

Commenting on the appointment Wyn Griffiths, a Director of Varitronix said, "The Benelux market has a strong design and manufacturing base. We have noticed a growing interest in our displays from this region, especially since the inception of our TFT business, so it seems logical we invest in this area. Jeroen and Maurice are an experienced team and we are confident they can promote our technologies in this region successfully."

Kaptein formerly worked at distributors Trident Displays & Nijkerk Electronics and has 9 years experience in the displays industry. Hachmang also formerly worked at Trident and has been in the industry for 6 years.

Located just outside Amsterdam, the new office will focus on promoting Varitronix’s TFT-LCD products as well as its extensive range in monochromatic technologies such as bi-stable and improved black nematic displays.
