Wadsworth appoints new sales director

Distributor expands sales focus with development of new role

[ClickPress, Mon Dec 10 2007] Wadsworth, one of the UK’s leading distributors of networking and cabling products, has announced the appointment of Tony Mackenzie as a new Sales Director. Tony will be responsible for expanding Wadsworth sales focus and support.

With over ten years’ experience within the industry, Tony has worked in all disciplines of the channel from installer/integrator to distribution and manufacturing. Tony joins Wadsworth Electronics from Mayflex, where he held the position of National Sales Manager for Networking and developed sales within the Networking division. Previous experience in Strategic Accounts Management at Mayflex included driving the infrastructure business forward with strategic development accounts on a national level.

Mackenzie comments, “Wadsworth is already a trusted supplier and has a fantastic range of products, so the potential is there to re-ignite its position as a major force in distribution. I am keen to see this through and build on the success that Wadsworth already enjoys.”
