New social issues report predicts a future where the age of homeownership could drop, demands on higher education increase and a new generation of entrepreneurs is born
[ClickPress, Tue Jan 22 2008] The UK property market is set for a revolution, with first-time buyers once again able to buy homes in their 20s, according to a new report out today from the Social Issues Research Centre (SIRC).
2020 Vision: The Trust Fund Generation, commissioned by The Children’s Mutual, is being launched on the third anniversary of the first Child Trust Fund (CTF) vouchers being issued. Based on both qualitative and quantitative research, with interviews, omnibus research and focus groups among young people and parents, the report investigated what the world could look like in 2020 for the Trust Fund Generation and what the impact of the CTF could be.
