Publishers of ezines, web news portals and traditional print publications have a new source of top quality free content in the form of iwantcontent.com, a new free article site launched this week.

[ClickPress, Mon Nov 21 2005] Publishers of ezines, web news portals and traditional print publications have a new source of top quality free content in the form of iwantcontent.com, a new free article site launched this week.

iwantcontent.com (http://www.iwantcontent.com) is a central repository of free reprint articles organised into straightforward categories ready for editors to browse, select and extract in a matter of minutes.

The new site complements its sister service ClickPress, a leading free press release distribution service.

ClickPress and iwantcontent.com owner George Hopkin explained: “We were receiving many articles for distribution via ClickPress, but we couldn’t accept them as they did not meet the criteria for that site. ClickPress is a recognised source of news releases and distributed to a large number of news and information portals, so it simply isn't the place for articles by expert authors.

“But rather than continue to turn them down, we wanted to launch a new service which could make use of this content so authors can have their articles made available to publishers looking for free content.”

Hopkin added that the new site was one of a number of new launches due before the end of the year designed to meet the distribution needs of information professionals such as public relations executives and expert authors.
