MTV launches new reality TV show with BlueCasting™ from Filter Worldwide.
MTV uses Filter Worldwide's BlueCasting proximity marketing system to send exclusive content from the new reality TV show "The Bedroom Diaries".
[ClickPress, Tue Feb 05 2008] To mark the launch of "The Bedroom Diaries" on MTV One, Davey, 21 from London, will be living his life in the full glare of the public as MTV literally lift his bedroom from his home in Harrow to London’s busy Carnaby Street to witness his antics for 36 hours.
From his bed to his wardrobe, posters to his computer – everything is being transported. Davey will be joined in his ‘bedroom’ by his dance teacher for a lesson, some of his many friends from MySpace for a chat (of whom he has over 6,000) and will be performing a special live DJ set on his decks as well as living a normal teenagers life for 36 hours – confined to his bedroom!
Passers-by will be able to interact with Davey via text message and BlueCasting™ technology will allow those nearby the ‘BYO bedroom’ to receive a 30 second sneak preview clip of the hot new show. Those at home can share in the whole experience as it’s streamed live via webcam.
The show is hot off the heels of the last controversial show "The Virgin Diaries" and follows nine teenagers around for six weeks on each of their individual journeys – whether it may be coming out to their parents, going to university at 19 with a two year old child or growing up as a young Muslim in today’s society and troubles it can cause, amongst other stories.
