Pickles Auctions Sell Millions Of Dollars Worth Of Earthmoving & Tunnelling Equipment

Pickles Auctions, Australia’s leading auctioneers, on behalf of Thiess John Holland is auctioning major earthmoving and tunnelling equipment from the recent Eastlink Freeway Project on Wednesday 5 March, at Pickles Auctions, Springbank St, Tullamarine at 11:00am.

[ClickPress, Thu Feb 14 2008] Pickles Auctions has been commissioned by Thiess John Holland to auction a large quantity of earthmoving and tunnelling equipment as part of the conclusion of Melbourne’s Eastlink Freeway Project as part of Pickles’ regular Truck, Machinery & Earthmoving Equipment Auction.

Thiess John Holland has responsibility for the design and construction of EastLink, Australia's largest urban infrastructure project, comprising 45 kilometres of freeway-standard road connecting Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern suburbs between the existing Eastern Freeway at Donvale and the Frankston Freeway on the Mornington Peninsula.

The auction will include:
• 03 Mitsui SLB300-13
• 4 x 05 Caterpillar 330C excavators
• 8 x 05/04 Caterpillar 725 articulated dump trucks
• 2 x 05 Caterpillar 966G loaders
• 2 x 05 Caterpillar IT62G toolcarrier
• 2 x 05 Atlas Copco Boltec LC bolters
• 05 Jaycon and Meyco shotcreters

The auction will also include a large quantity of surplus equipment including, pumps, primary fans, Dust extractors, hand tools, scrap metal and much more.

Pickles’ Trucks, Machinery & Earthmoving Equipment Auction will be held on Wednesday 5 March at 11:00am. Viewing for this auction is from 9:00am - 4:00pm day prior and 9:00am day of sale.

The auction will be conducted at Springbank St, Tullamarine, Melbourne.
