JobsGroup.net Shortlisted for Best Job Board at Recruiter Awards 2008

JobsGroup.net has been nominated for Best Job Board at the Recruiter Awards 2008. The nomination follows a number of innovations and improvements designed to help UK recruiters fill their vacancies before their competitors.

[ClickPress, Mon Feb 25 2008] JobsGroup.net has also been nominated this year for Best Online Marketing, Best Offline Marketing and Best Technical Innovation at the Onrec Awards 2008. The company previously won Best Job Board (formally known as Best Online Service) at the Recruiter Awards 2006.

The award nomination follows a period of sustained growth at JobsGroup.net, with the number of jobseekers that have registered their CVs with the network increasing by over 60% in less than a year to 330,000. Every month more than 350,000 unique users visit the network. JustEngineers.net and JustConstruction.net remain the most popular niche jobsites by sector market share.

JobsGroup.net was acquired by the Daily Mail and General Trust (DGMT) plc in August 2007, which also owns the Daily Mail, Jobsite.co.uk, Evening Standard, Metro, Teletext, ThisIs and PrimeLocation.com. One in three British adults visits a DMGT website every month, helping JobsGroup.net to target passive jobseekers.

The company recently moved into new purpose-built offices in Heysham, Lancashire, primarily to accommodate the growing sales and account management teams. Brunel House features a free staff gym and cafe, and includes an eco-friendly wind turbine and solar panels.
