iomart secures £6.75M Data Centre Contract

iomart Group plc, the datacentre operating and web hosting business, is pleased to announce that it has today signed a 5 year contract with the UK’s leading telecom operator to provide managed data centre facilities.

[ClickPress, Thu Feb 28 2008] The contract is worth a minimum of £6.75m spread equally over the 5 year period and excludes the cost of power. Further revenues may be generated from the provision of additional managed services.

iomart entered the Data Centre Market in March 2007, with the purchase of 4 non operational data centres in London, Glasgow, Leicester and Nottingham. Following a refurbishment program, the company can now offer over 3,500m2 of high specification, secure and fully redundant data centre space.
