Londoners looking elsewhere according to National Homebuyers

Londoners are increasingly considering making a fast property sale because city life is getting them down.

[ClickPress, Mon Mar 03 2008] New research from Zipcar UK reveals that the biggest gripe for most Londoners is the high cost of transport.

In addition, people living in the capital claim that high rent is extremely off-putting and would be happy to make a fast property sale in order to live elsewhere.

"Londoners are put under financial pressure living in the second most expensive city in the world, fuelled by the priciest transport system on the planet," said Paul McLoughlin, general manager of car sharing firm Zipcar UK.

"It is clear Londoners resent paying a lot of money for travel and are keen to make savings wherever possible," he continued.

Many Londoners may also be keen to leave the city after a number of reports have recently suggested that the UK housing market slump has hit the capital.

Fast property sale expert Julian King says, "Homeowners in the capital who are looking for fast property sale to rid them of the rat race should consider a quick house sale, as property prices continue to fall across the UK.

"With the cost of living being so high, it is not surprising that the majority of repossessions are forecast to be from London this year".
