Synovetics announces the launch of a specialized course for Professionals in the Healthcare Quality field

[ClickPress, Tue Mar 18 2008] Synovetics, a leading provider of healthcare education announces the launch of a specialized course for Professionals in the Healthcare Quality field -- The Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Preparatory Course, an essential review programme for all healthcare professionals planning to take the CPHQ exam.

The CPHQ Preparatory Course aims to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to obtain the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Certification administered by the National Association for Healthcare Quality. This certification develops healthcare by advancing theory, practical knowledge and best practice standards.

The first CPHQ Preparatory Course will be held on April 9 and 10 at the Novotel Hotel, World Trade Center, Dubai. It provides an opportunity for Quality Managers, Performance Analysts and Hospital Administrators to sharpen their skills and update their knowledge.

This course is a workshop that involves a combination of practical demonstrations, discussion groups, case studies and interactive exercises. The participants are expected to gain a solid foundation in the implementation of quality initiatives in healthcare by acquiring common understanding of quality terminology such as quality assurance, continuous quality improvement and total quality management.

The course will enable participants to develop a good understanding of management responsibility towards effective implementation of healthcare quality. They will be able to advance their knowledge on data design, collection, analysis, communication and reporting tools for healthcare quality evaluation and improvement. The course also offers participants with the opportunity to gain comprehensive understanding of guidelines necessary for effective planning of performance measurement and improvement initiatives, as well as, advancing the knowledge necessary for proper implementation and follow-up of performance improvement and initiatives.

The course will be conducted by Dr. Wafa Abu Snieneh, a Senior Consultant of The Executive Council, Government of Dubai and a Researcher at the European Centre for TQM, University of Bradford, United Kingdom.
