Toolbox ROK Power Tools Are Nearly Here

For those in the know, the development and release of ROK tools have been highly anticipated over the last 9 months. A lot of time and effort has been invested into this brand new range of tools and the guys at Toolbox are eagerly awaiting the full release.

The ROK tool range will be primarily based around a low cost-point, but built to high quality standards. Due to this, the Toolbox tools will be extremely strong competition for the low-budget brands and they may also step into the market to compete alongside bigger manufacturers such as Makita and Ryobi.
Not only is this a large step for Toolbox, but it’s a step in the right direction as well. There are already an abundance of tools on the website, so after the addition of the ROK range, Toolbox will start culling some unnecessary tools in similar categories. This will relate to the cordless hammer drill section as well as various other mains and cordless tool groups.

Featured in the video to the right is one of the Toolbox ROK tools in action, demonstrated by Lee Taylor, the resident power tool expert and general manager. The bench saw that’s featured in the video is in fact the 255mm model which already looks set to be a hit; coming in at a low price point as well as matching the high build quality and precision of much more expensive saws.

Lee Taylor commented on the new ROK tool range: "I’ve been involved with the development of the ROK tools right from the start and it has been a truly brilliant journey. I’ve learned a lot along the way and I’ve also been able to use my existing knowledge to shape the products we’ve created and ensure they’re exactly what tool enthusiasts want. Toolbox currently operates on the new, rebranded and ever-expanding Online Home Retail Network which currently runs around 50 websites which sell everything from showers and drain rods to hedge trimmers. Online Home Retail Limited first started out as Plumbworld Ltd back in 1999 and since then it has been bought by the Grafton Group PLC in 2006 and received a major rebrand in 2012. The business now employs 60 people in its purpose built warehouse/offices and has a total turnover nearing £25 million per year.
