For the last few years, the weather has held up into the months of September and October; however, this year summer appears to have come and gone without the majority of the UK even realising.

GardenToolbox one of the popular go-to retailers for gardening tools and equipment has recently announced that the gardening season has drawn to a close. In the northern parts of the UK, some areas have already seen frost hitting in the morning and it won’t be long until the rest of the UK follows suit. This pretty much eradicates any chance of getting out in the backyard for a touch of gardening, sadly.

However, the guys and girls at GardenToolbox have put a fantastic selection of tools and equipment on sale to cope with the upcoming weather and seasons. Amongst the discounted tools are leaf blowers which are ideal for dealing with those falling leaves and also a variety of chainsaws to cut wood up for those who have wood burning stoves installed.

Gabi Emms from GardenToolbox added: "It’s always a sad time for our community and customers when the gardening season comes to an end as many people who shop with us and staff members take pride in their garden. Winter almost takes away our hard work, but we know that the garden will come back to life in the spring which makes it bearable, I guess! The sale also makes it a lot easier on some folks as they realise they can still do things throughout winter to make the garden look tidy and presentable."

For those who are wondering; the GardenToolbox sale will be running until the end of November, and is available here which should hopefully give everyone time to have a look through the items on sale. There are wide selections of products that have had prices cut specifically for winter, so, take advantage now and prepare yourself and the garden for the upcoming weather.

GardenToolbox currently operates on the new, rebranded and ever-expanding Online Home Retail Network which currently encompasses around 50 websites which include www.toolbox.co.uk. Online Home Retail Limited first started out as Plumbworld Ltd back in 1999 and since then it has been bought by the Grafton Group PLC in 2006 and received a major rebrand in 2012. The business now employs 60 people in its purpose built warehouse/offices and has a total turnover nearing £25 million per year and the main site Plumbworld is located here.
