Local Teenage Superstar rises up the Retail Ranks

Following five consecutive successes scooping up the prestigious Better Bathrooms Customer Experience Employee of the Month Award; 18 year old, Lowton based, Abbie Smith has achieved a wealth of unprecedented accomplishments within the bathroom and tiles retail business, all contributing to the teen’s recent promotion to Floor Walker.

Since joining Better Bathrooms 12 months ago, Abbie’s talent within the Customer Experience department has shone brightly since day one. Thriving strongly within such a fast paced and high pressured environment, her constant dedication and motivation has helped Abbie rapidly excel within the challenging role.

Abbie Smith explained; "I was overwhelmed to hear I’d been offered the promotion, all my hard work has paid off with me moving up within the company. I’m extremely excited to start the new role and improve the Customer Experience team by making sure all colleagues are hitting KPIS. I thoroughly enjoy working at Better Bathrooms and look forward to a bright future within the business".

Abbie’s journey within the Better Bathrooms business is truly one of great success; from winning her first Customer Experience Employee of the Month Award back in February, month on month Abbie has surpassed her own high performance and targets resulting in her receiving the prestigious prize for five consecutive months. In recognising this consistent success and dedication, the Better Bathrooms management team have awarded Abbie Smith a promotion to the role of Floor Walker.

Working within the Customer Experience department Abbie’s new role as Floor Walker will see her steer the team forward in helping deliver an unbeatable after care experience to the Better Bathrooms customer. By ensuring all staff members are achieving daily targets and continuing to evolve and improve performance will help in achieving the retailers strong company motto of ‘Better Prices, Better Service, Better Bathrooms’.

Head of Customer Experience, Lynn Wood, was full of praise when speaking about the teenage star; "I’m very excited to announce the promotion of Abbie Smith to Floor Walker here at Better Bathrooms. She will become the customer advocate by ensuring the telephone calls are answered in a timely fashion and first call resolution is successfully implemented whenever possible. Abbie’s unique perspective makes her the perfect choice for this position, which requires drive and determination to ensure the call KPI’s are met and will work with the Training Manger to improve customer satisfaction. We plan to apply the performance data as well as her experience in the field of Customer Advisor to implement new procedures applicable to Better Bathrooms’ Customer Service philosophy. Our goal is to ensure that we enhance the customers experience to increase satisfaction, with Abbie’s promotion greatly assisting us in that."
