Annual Wine on the Water Returns to the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino and Lone Eagle Grille announce the fourth annual Wine on the Water. Set against a spectacular backdrop on the Cottage Green beside Hyatt’s private beach, the food and wine festival and charity event will take place Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This year’s North Lake Tahoe event brings together over 25 celebrated wineries, more than a dozen local restaurants, and spectacular live music entertainment.

Guests will have a chance to sample the finest labels and vintages from acclaimed Northern California wineries. Hyatt’s own Lone Eagle Grille, recognized by Wine Spectator magazine with the Award of Excellence for its outstanding wine program, will also feature a flavorful sampling of high sierra cuisine that has made it one of the area’s most popular restaurants. Other top local and regional chefs from favorite restaurants will provide signature bites. In addition to great wine and food, Wine on the Water will feature an extensive silent auction with items including special wines, exotic resort retreat packages, dinners, and gift certificates. Live music will be provided as guests mix and mingle.

All proceeds generated from ticket sales and silent auction sales will be donated directly to the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. Since the inception of Wine on the Water in 2010, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe has raised more than $91,000 for the local charity. Tickets to the event are $65 per person in advance, and $75 at the door.
