The team at Hyatt Regency Cambridge is extremely proud of the three outstanding associates who represented the hotel at the recent Massachusetts Lodging Association (MLA) award luncheon of the American Hotel & Lodging Association. These individuals, Conroy Grant, Dimitri Solopoulos and Pat Power, epitomize hospitality and strive to make an impact on the hotel’s guests and associates each and every day. Their nominations for the categories, Outstanding Lodging Employee and Outstanding Lodging Manager, reflect their dedication to the hospitality industry and to the guests at Hyatt Regency Cambridge.

Pat Power, shuttle driver for Hyatt Regency Cambridge received the prestigious award for Outstanding Lodging Employee of the Year from the Massachusetts extension of the American Hotels & Lodging Association. With more than 400 active member properties being represented by the MLA, many associates were eligible for this recognition. It is Pat’s commitment to his position and his ability to connect with the guests that propelled him to win this honor for outstanding service at our Cambridge hotel. His nomination consisted of many stories where Pat went above and beyond to assist the guests and the hotel. It is clear that he takes pride in his position with Hyatt Regency Cambridge and because of that, he is extremely successful at what he does.

The Stars of the Industry awards program was created more than 40 years ago by the American Hotel & Lodging Association to recognize outstanding accomplishments in the lodging industry. While the categories created by the American Hotel & Lodging Association have evolved over the years, the concept is still the same: to honor lodging employees and properties that best symbolize the quality service of the industry.

General Manager, Stacey Nichols states, "We are very proud of all of our associates and their daily efforts to make a positive impact on our guests. Conroy, Dimitri and Pat are leaders within the hotel and set the bar for exceptional customer service. Their nominations are well deserved and I am thrilled that Pat was awarded Outstanding Lodging Employee of the Year. It is my pleasure to be able to work with such a dedicated and caring team."
