Dubai Motor Show offers visitors the opportunity to win prizes from cars to music systems
[ClickPress, Thu Dec 15 2005] If you're on the market for a new vehicle, today (Friday 16th December) is the last day to visit the Middle East International Motor Show organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The show will remain open from 3.00 PM to 10.00 PM.
While you are shopping around for your ideal car, take a note of some special deals available for that could well make your trip worthwhile.
In some cases you do not even need to make a purchase: at the Renault stand they are raffling a Clio car and all visitors to their exhibition stand are invited to participate; the draw will take place at the end of the show. In Hall number eight ENOC are running a daily raffle draw to win 2 x 4l of their Protech x-treme motor oil, while venturing deeper into the accessories hall will bring you to the Fusion stand where, just today, they have taken delivery of a brand new Fusion 12" base pack which comes complete with a loaded, enclosed, 12" sub-woofer, an amplifier and an amplifier kit, an incredible sound system for your car for the unbelievable launch price of AED 999. Getting back to the family vehicles, Ssangyong, the Korean manufacturers is selling their 2006 models with discounts of AED 10,000 and above, applicable only to sales during the Motor Show: the Rexton 4WD is on sale at AED 84,900 for the standard model and AED 94,900 for the luxury model; the Rodius 7 & 9-seater at AED 79,900 and AED 81,900 respectively and the luxury 11-seater at AED 89,900 and, finally, the Chairman Limousine at AED 154,900 – a discount of AED 15,000.
At the Gemballa stand too the show cars are for sale at a fraction of their original prices with the two Gemballa 911's available for € 200,000 and € 240,000 and the Gemballa Cayenne going for just € 300,000. MCM Al Khaleej is also offering up to 15 percent discount on their show cars.
A number of dealers are offering preferential interest rates: Toyota and Lexus are offering an interest rate of 1.99 per cent on financing for Motor Show purchases, through ME Bank; Jaguar are also offering an interest rate of 1.99 per cent along with unlimited mileage, a 5-year warranty, 5 years roadside assistance and a free 3-year (or 75,000 km) service/maintenance contract; Honda will arrange financing at 3.5 percent interest through ME Bank; Mitsubishi are giving 3 annual services on their 3.8l. 2005/06 Pajeros up to 40,000km plus a 3-year or 60,000km warranty with the option of an extended warranty if required. At the Ford stand you will get free 13-month fully comprehensive insurance on selected cars plus a free 2-year or 40,000km service deal.
If it's a Kia that takes your fancy, you could be in for a five-day (4 nights) holiday for two in Korea. Every car purchased during the show will entitle the buyer to one ticket in the draw.
Finally, if you really can't stretch your budget to the car of your dreams, you can get an authentic replica at the King of Hobbies stand in the accessories hall, where a large selection of their miniature vehicle collection is on sale at prices that have been discounted by up to 15 per cent.
Entry tickets to the show are priced at AED 15/- per person and the show remains open from 11.00 AM to 10.00 PM from 12th to 15th December and from 3.00 PM to 10.00 PM on Friday (16th December).
