Olympic Champion Sheikh Ahmed Visits Dubai Motor Show
Royalty, VIPs, motoring enthusiasts & general public alike enjoy show
[ClickPress, Thu Dec 15 2005] The 8th Middle East International Motorshow organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre has attracted several members from the royal families of the UAE, VIPs and other auto enthusiasts to see the most comprehensive display of cars ever put together under one roof in the region. The event concludes on December 16th at 10.00 PM.
Leading automobile manufacturers from around the world have been very pleased at the constant flow of royal visitors and affluent consumers since the show opened on December 12th.
Prominent among the recent royal visitors to the show included UAE Olympic Gold Medallist in Double Trap Shooting, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hasher Al Maktoum who was accompanied on the tour of the show by DWTC’s Mashaal Al Ali.
Buoyed by premium oil revenues the economies in the GCC region are booming, thereby spurring a growth in the automobile industry. The region boasts among the highest cars-per-household ratios in the world.
Entry tickets to the show are priced at AED 15/- per person and the show remains open from 11.00 AM to 10.00 PM from 12th to 15th December and from 3.00 PM to 10.00 PM on Friday (16th December).
