Distinguished Fiction Writer Releases New Collection

Poor Pluto Publications is proud to announce the release of Henry S. Kivett's new collection, The Dead Rising All Around Us, this summer. The collection contains a mix of pieces that have previously appeared in esteemed literary journals like Smokelong Quarterly and Verbsap, as well as several previously unpublished pieces. The author describes the overall theme of the work as "self-haunting" and "an exploration of what is gained through loss."

The author holds an MFA in Creative Writing from North Carolina State University, has taught creative writing in both the public and private sectors, currently works in the publishing and marketing worlds, and has two previous collections, Outliving Your Pets and Best Left Unseen. The Dead Rising All Around Us is currently available for online purchase independent channels and will be available through Amazon, the iBookstore, and Barnes and Noble's online store in the summer of 2015.
