Cosmetics Formulator Steps Out on Her Own After 35 Years in the Beauty Industry in Honor of Her Moth

FEENI’S FINEST botanical based products are being introduced to the public on December 4, 2016 and will be available for purchase online at www.etsy.com/shop/SavannahRooted. The products were created by Margaret Haven. Margaret Haven is a Cosmetics Formulator, Quality Assurance Expert, and Educator with over 35 years of experience. She has provided formulation, plant management, and quality control services to independent product companies as well as several cosmetics manufacturers including Carson Products, M&M Products, House of Cheatham, McBride Laboratories, Draga Laboratories, W&W Pharmaceuticals, and Professional Products Unlimited.

Margaret Haven said, "It was my Grandmother who planted the seed to own your own business. Mama's mama, the one and only the Great Sylvia Robinson, was one of 25 children who parents had a rice farm. It was Mama's determination, follow through, courage, and creativity that gave us strength." In 2012, after her mother passed, Margaret put in motion her longtime dream of launching a product line in honor of her mother. FEENI’S FINEST products are inspired by and named after Margaret’s mother and namesake Margaret Ophelia Haven, known lovingly by family members as Feeni. The product’s December 4th launch date was selected in honor of Feeni’s birthday.

FEENI’S FINEST Home Spa Botanical Serums are rice based dry oils. Dry oils are known for helping to prevent sun damage and uneven skin tone. Haven launched the line with rice based oils in memory of her family’s rice farm. "It helped 25 children survive the Depression." Each serum in the line has its own unique skin care benefits derived from select herbs, including Chamomile, Calendula, Moringa, Green Tea, and Rosehip.
