[ClickPress, Mon Jan 09 2006] San Diego web log Sandiegojohnny.com has been acknowledged by the Washington Post in their Saturday, January 6, 2006 edition as the site that first broke the Walmart.com racism story. In a report on Page D1 of the Post, reporter Ylan Q. Mui wrote that "Although the problem became widely known only Thursday, John Pappas III, who runs the Web log San Diego Johnny, said he noticed the offensive grouping in October...and wrote about it on his blog."
San Diego Johnny brought this problem to light before any of the mega-blogs who have still declined to properly attribute the source for their reports.
