SMEXINDO proudly exhibits Indonesia’s pride in “The Bahrain International Garden Show 2018”

The Bahrain International Garden Show (BIGS), the most awaited agricultural exhibition organized by the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) is expected to draw huge crowd from Feb 22nd – 25th this year at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center from all over the globe. The interesting news is SramMram’s largest business vertical and retail portal called "SMEXINDO" will be taking part in this showfor the first time.

Elaborating on this year’s (2018) BIGS theme of "Food Safety and Human Health", her Excellency princess ShaikhaMaramBint Isa Al Khalifa who is also the Secretary General of NIAD told that more emphasize would be on healthy and safe procedures to be followed before and after the harvest. Ultimately, to promote "Good Agricultural Practices" (GAP) and production of superior quality agricultural produce all the while ensuring sustainability of environment and food safety.

In a recently held press meet, Mr. SaileshLachu Hiranandani, chairman of SMEXINDO, one of the prominent B2B business firms expressed his gratification in securing a booth at the BIGS along with other big wigs of the industry. He told the media that his company would showcase many of its exquisite, wide-ranging, unique Indonesian products and also expressed his wish to become a major business player in Bahrain.

The official opening ceremony will happen on Feb 21st 2018, around 4 p.m. Entry to visitors will be allowed upon producing entrance tickets that can be bought at the venuepriced at BDO.500 per person. However, children below 12 years of age can enjoy free entry.

NIAD has planned to conduct workshops on food quality and taste by prominent Greek companies who have made a mark in the field of organic food production such as producing superior quality organic honey, olive oil, herbs and products made from avocado. In addition to this, there would be competitions on flower arrangements, locally grown vegetables, flowers, experimental plants and even photography. With a motive to enthrall the crowd, there would be various recreational activities and games too.
