Lapstander: A unique laptop stand designed to improve posture and amp our creativity launches is liv

Published: Thu Feb 22 2018

As the Lapstander's quirky video points out, Laptops were never designed to be used as replacements for desktops, but as a species, we have a hard time consolidating that fact.

According to the nice folks at NICE.org back pain causes the NHS over £1000 Million every year. While we can't blame all of that on Laptops, we think it's only fair that laptops users take some responsibility. Lapstander will help and is height-adjustable so that the user can fully correct their posture and give their spine a high five.

Richard Austin, Lapstander CEO said, "Lapstander is essential for anyone who uses a laptop for more than 5 minutes a day. Over the last decade, we've treated laptops as if they are interchangeable with desktop computers and we'll pay for that in later life with serious back issues. We also gave Lapstander little detachable arms so you can keep connected to your smart-phone, iPad and other peripherals. We're launching on Kickstarter on the 15th and we hope we'll be improving posture early in the new year."
