BCAGlobal Announces 14th Annual Global Food & Wine Experience

Published: Sat Sep 08 2018

Building a broader platform for diversity in the culinary and hospitality industries is the spirit behind BCAGlobal’s 14th Annual Global Food & Wine Experience that will take place on Friday October 19th at Guastavinos 409 E. 59th Street in NYC from 7 PM to 10:30 PM.

This important evening is the only event in the country celebrating diversity, using the food and beverage industry as a nexus to bring people together. Curated bites will be offered as culinary samplings from chefs & restaurants are paired with wine & spirits from around the world. We expect approximately 400 to be in attendance for this event. Our attendees and participants include 75% of stemming from the food and beverage industry including employees, managers, and senior leadership.

We are especially thrilled to introduce our newest vision Mindful Eating for the Beloved Community. This approach is crucial to bringing awareness and cultivating focus towards re-establishing a connection between food to family, community, culture and faith. The realization that the act of sharing and consuming food and beverage has become detached from its traditional cultural contexts has emerged. The purpose is to reconnect food to cultural heritage and the community, through social nourishment in the context of "Enjoying Responsibly".

Exhibitors include- Chef Stephen Almond (Assemblage) 3 Time Food Network "Chopped" Champion Chef Marc Bynum-(Bynum Hospitality Group), Professional Sports Celebrated Chef Jawed Halepota, Harlem’s own Joann Baylor (Make My Cake) and Top Mixologist Karl Franz owner of 67 Orange/Solomon and Kuff Rum Hall, Paleo-Life Cuisine Executive Chef Kenneth Larson, Bravo’s Top Chef Celebrity Ron Duprat. and Culinary Director of Rethink Food NYC/Executive Chef (BonbiteNYC.com) and Jefferson Evans Honoree Winston Chiu. Sponsor and supporter participants include- Damascus Bakery, Hobart, Palm Bay Wines, Empire Merchants, R.S. Lipman, Woodford Reserve and Gentleman Jack.
