Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality (www.rockytophospitality.com), has announced that Elizabeth Wallace, director of corporate affairs, has been named logistics committee chair for the American Heart Association’s 2009 Triangle Heart Ball that will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Embassy Suites in Cary. As logistics committee chair, Wallace will be overseeing organization of the event, creating all collateral materials and branding the theme of this years ball, "A Venetian Carnivale: Unmask your Heart’s Desire." The Triangle Heart Ball recognizes the dedicated service of the American Heart Association in the Triangle and its mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, as well as enabling the advancement of groundbreaking medical research and lifesaving knowledge for the Triangle community. More than 500 guests will be attending the black-tie affair, presented by Leith, Inc., Misys Healthcare Systems and UNC Health Care.
