Beginning on January 16th(Dr. Laura’s Birthday), fans of one of radio’s most popular personalities will be able to listen to Dr. Laura wherever they are – via the Internet, on their iPod or other portable MP3 player, or in the car. Premiere Radio Networks will begin to offer Dr. Laura’s hugely popular syndicated radio program via Podcast.

[ClickPress, Tue Jan 17 2006] Beginning on January 16th, fans of one of radio’s most popular personalities will be able to listen to Dr. Laura wherever they are – via the Internet, on their iPod or other portable MP3 player, or in the car. Premiere Radio Networks will begin to offer Dr. Laura’s hugely popular syndicated radio program via Podcast. The Podcast will be available to all subscribers of StreamLink, a service that allows fans to listen to the Dr. Laura Program on their computers whenever they like. The cost for StreamLink, which will now include the Podcast at no additional charge, is $6.95/month, which is less than 25 cents per day. If subscribers sign up for a longer period of time (either six months or a full year), they can save up to 34% off the regular price.

For over thirty years, as one of the most popular talk show hosts in radio history, Dr. Laura has offered no-nonsense advice infused with a strong sense of ethics, accountability, and personal responsibility. She is also the author of 8 New York Times Bestsellers, including her new book, Bad Childhood - Good Life (which debuted in the Top 10) and last year’s chart-topping The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands. She is currently touring the country with a one-woman theatrical show titled “In My Never To Be Humble Opinion”.

Dr. Laura holds a Ph.D. in physiology from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, and received her post-doctoral certification in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from the University of Southern California. She was in private practice for 12 years. She's also been on the faculty of the Department of Biology at the University of Southern California, and the Graduate Psychology Department at Pepperdine University.

In addition, Dr. Laura holds multiple trophies for sailboat racing, and is a Black Belt in martial arts.
