A new site has been launched to help teach people what depression is.

“The majority of depression sufferers do not realize that they have a disease that can be treated,” said Donny Lowy.

“If they could only be alerted to the fact that they are suffering from depression they could then seek professional help.”

Donny Lowy decided to use the reach of the internet to help provide basic information on what depression is to the general public.

His hope is that as depression is further understood more people will know that they can seek treatment.
