BUDGET achieves ISO certification

BUDGET CAR RENTAL ACHIEVES PRESTIGIOUS QUALITY RECOGNITION

[ClickPress, Sat Jan 28 2006] Budget Car Rental Bahrain proudly announced recently that it has achieved the international quality recognition - ISO9000:2000. This prestigious international certification has been awarded by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) one of the leading certification bodies around the world. Fakhro Transport, the Licensee of Budget Car Rental in Bahrain proudly proclaimed that it is now certified for all of its operations including Car Rental, Leasing, Chauffer Services and Used Cars.

Upon receiving the certification Mr Jacob Thomas, General Manager of Budget Car Rental in Bahrain said: “It is a real achievement for us to have been awarded ISO9000:2000, we have worked hard and know that this will give added confidence to our customers, suppliers and shareholders and at the same time create a spirit of service excellence amongst our employees. We are very proud to be one the few companies in Bahrain to have achieved this prestigious and internationally recognised standard.”

A ceremony, attended by management and key personnel was held at the Budget Car Rental offices in Bahrain Commercial Complex where Mr Ashar Hassan presented the ISO9000:2000 certificate to Mr Thomas.

BVQI is one of the leading certification bodies around the world having more than 55,000 certification in over 100 countries.

Budget Car Rental is part of the Abdulla Yousif Fakhro organisation, one of the longest established firms in Bahrain which has played a leading role in the development of the Bahrain economy and society since its inception in 1888.
