Nicole Welch, LCSW, Program Development Manager and Rochelle Sugarman, Caregiver Specialist for the Family Caregiver Support Program at OCES were on hand to provide information and talk with seniors about valuable programs and services that the agency provides to elders throughout Plymouth county.

OCES offers a number of enhanced care and "aging in place" programs to better serve seniors, families and caregivers. The programs include Caring Homes and Enhanced Adult Family Care; Supportive Housing; Family Caregiver Support; Nutrition; Money Management; Protective Services; Home Care and more.

"We had a very good turnout despite a mid-day thunder storm. We spoke with many people who were interested in our volunteer opportunities and caregiver support programs," said Nicole Welch. "One senior who receives some services from OCES, stopped by to thank us. She is recovering from a stroke and said that without the help of
our programs, she wouldn't be able to do as much as she is able to now."

For those who would like to follow up on OCES information received during the Health Fair or for anyone who was unable to attend, yet is in need of services, contact Nicole Welch, LCSW at (508) 584-1561.
