The Internet site is the latest stage in Maverick Mums' rapid UK development and gives mums-to-be, mums, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friend a great opportunity to get everything for a baby or toddler at a fraction of UK high street prices.

With many mums-to-be and parents with young families feeling the financial pinch the launch of the new Internet Sale Room comes at a perfect time.

Maverick Mums MD, Sheena Tulloch-Cotton explains ... "We have been very active in the market but traditionally, we have operated through 'live' table-top sales at specially selected venues. Whilst these have been amazingly successful in bringing together buyers and sellers, we have been acutely aware that there is a large number of people out there who find it difficult to go out shopping and often can't afford the vastly inflated high street prices. That's why we are so delighted to launch this Internet sale room especially for baby and toddler equipment."

Already the BBC have expressed and interest in featuring the site and this is likely to happen after Sheena has put through some more innovative changes and additions such as a direct link to UK charities for people who want to donate rather than sell, as well as a special 'Wanted' section.

The site also features a section especially for equipment for disabled and special needs children ... these are a group of children who often get forgotten or overlooked but Maverick Mums are determined to give them equal opportunities to get pre-loved and nearly new toys, clothes and equipment.

One really interesting feature of the new site is the opportunity for mums to share their birthing stories and experiences with each other ... it's almost like an international support group where mums will have the opportunity to swap stories, share problems and give each other answers.
