Israeli Journalist, Commentator Alan Abbey on US Speaking Tour

Alan Abbey, Jerusalem-based commentator and former editor of several leading Israeli news websites, is visiting US and Canadian Jewish communities this spring to provide updates on the current situation in Israel and media strategy training for community organizations. He is accepting a limited number of additional engagements.

[ClickPress, Thu Feb 16 2006] Alan Abbey, a syndicated commentator on Israeli and Jewish affairs with a wide following, and former Editor-in-Chief of two major Israeli news websites, is visiting Texas Jewish communities this spring to offer updates on the situation in Israel and media strategy training for Jewish community and advocacy groups. He is accepting a limited number of additional engagements.

Abbey's previous tour received rave reviews from Jewish community leaders in Boston, Annapolis, New York and Houston.

Abbey's next tour will be in early April, and he is available to appear before community and synagogue groups.

Abbey is the former Editor in Chief of the website of the Jerusalem Post, and is the founding Editor of Ynetnews.com, the English website of Israel's largest newspaper. His Ynetnews column is regularly featured on other websites, and he is a frequent guest on radio and television programs. He recently was interviewed on Swiss TV, and is a featured panelist on the internationally syndicated radio program, Front Page Jerusalem.

Abbey is currently President and CEO of Abbey Content Enterprises, which develops real-time, outsourced content for businesses and organizations. Among other projects, Abbey is developing a roundtable discussion program from Israel for a US cable TV network.

In 2003 Abbey authored, "Journey of Hope: The Story of Ilan Ramon, Israel's First Astronaut."
