[ClickPress, Mon Feb 20 2006] Holiday Centre promotes a healthier UAE community by conducting a Free Health Camp for the public on February 22nd, from 10 AM – 12 PM at the shopping mall’s lobby.

Everyone will get a chance to have their glucose, body mass index and blood pressure checked free of charge. 60% discount vouchers on cholesterol testing with free consultation with a specialist at the Emirates Hospital will also be distributed to the attendees.

Holiday Centre Operations Manager Banu Tas says “With Dubai’s economy growing rapidly, its residents have been trying to catch up by working harder on their respective jobs, with no time left to attend to other matters. Holiday Centre is pleased to offer to the community not only a place to shop and unwind but also a perfect venue to check the status of their health.”

The free medical screening is hosted by Holiday Centre in cooperation with UAE Heart Network, a newly launched non-profit organization which aims to promote cholesterol awareness in the UAE, along with Pocari Sweat, Lifescan, Omron and Emirates Hospital.
