Hardin Construction Company Wins Southeast Construction’s Best Of 2008

Tom Booth, vice president and general manager of Hardin Construction Company, LLC (www.hardinconstruction.com) has announced that the company has received several awards from Southeast Construction magazine’s Best of 2008 for their work on various projects in the Southeast region of the country. Hardin received top honors in the mixed use category for 3344 Peachtree in Atlanta, the multifamily category for Grand Central at Kennedy in Tampa, Fla., best retail project for Winter Garden Village at Flowers Grove in Winter Garden, Fla. and the cultural category for the Aycock Auditorium at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Greensboro which was a joint venture of Hardin Construction Company and Rodgers Builders. The company also earned consideration for the competition’s top prize, the Judges Award for their work on 3344 Peachtree in Atlanta.

The winning projects will be featured in the December 2008 issue of Southeast Construction and will be honored at an awards luncheon to be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Orlando, Fla. The winner of this year’s Judges Award will be unveiled at the event and some of the winning projects will be entered into the National Best of 2008 competition to be judged along with winning entries from other regions of the country.
