Bernadette Barron Earns Certified Turnaround Professional Designation

Chicago-based Bernadette Barron, Managing Director at Morris Anderson & Associates, has earned her CTP designation. The CTP designation, the industry’s most recognized certification of experienced and skilled turnaround professionals, provides an objective measure and recognition of expertise related to workouts, restructurings and corporate renewal.

A resident of Chicago, Barron is an expert in turnaround consulting and interim management, and operational legal, tax and financial issues. She currently serves as Managing Director at Morris-Anderson & Associates (www.morris-anderson.com), which is based in Des Plaines.

The CTP designation provides an objective measure and recognition of expertise related to workouts, restructurings and corporate renewal. Applicants must meet specific standards of education, experience, and professional conduct. They also must successfully complete a rigorous examination that covers financial and managerial accounting and tax, turnaround and crisis management and bankruptcy and UCC law. CTPs are required to participate in continuing education programs to maintain their certification.
