The Attic Room has installed the first Illamasqua retail counter into a premium position of the Cosmetics Hall in Selfridges, London. The brand and the counter was launched on the 1st November.

Shaun Bates, Retail Director at The Attic Room who has managed the project said: "From concept through to the build, Illamasqua has been a fantastic brand to work with. We have been able to stretch our imaginations as far as we want to and in return we have created a retail solution that reflects the Illamasqua story and their bold make-up brand".

Illamasqua, whose mission is to empower women and men to self-express through make-up and discover their ‘alter ego’, brings professional, night-time make-up to Selfridges through a huge range of products in a wide variety of finishes and colours.

The new Illamasqua retail counter is made with polished black corian, cream corian detail and glass to heighten the experience of the brand. The inspiration for the design came from the dark, theatrical clubs of 1920s Berlin, where the roots of the brand lie.

The Attic Room design, manufacture and install bespoke permanent retail sites, point of purchase, promotional furniture, window displays and events for product launches in the prestigious beauty and cosmetic industry. Plans are in place for further three Illamasqua sites to go into Selfridges in Manchester and Birmingham as well as one of the Fenwicks stores.
