CALLING ALL CHOCOHOLICS

This years CLIC Sargent Chocolate Ball takes place on 24th March at The Dorchester, London in aid of the children and families affected by cancer and leukaemia in the UK...

[ClickPress, Mon Mar 06 2006] Chocoholics on the look out for a good night out should put Friday 24 March in their diaries as CLIC Sargent – the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity – is holding its annual Chocolate Ball that evening at The Dorchester Hotel in London.

The black tie event, which regularly attracts celebrities from stage and screen, is certainly a highlight in the social calendar. Event Organiser, Emma Jackson from CLIC Sargent says: “The Chocolate Ball is a truly sumptuous event. The evening begins with a champagne reception and is then followed by dinner, live music and dancing. The whole evening is themed around chocolate, and this year the centrepiece of decorations will be a handmade chocolate sculpture of the Mad Hatters Tea party – complete with chocolate teapot! There will also be chocolate fountains and chocolate games to play!”

All the money raised by The Chocolate Ball will be used to provide clinical, psychosocial, emotional and financial care and support to the thousands of children and young people, and their families, affected by cancer and leukaemia in the UK.
