WITH the first signs of Spring in the air, now is the time of year that many couples are getting round to planning their nuptials.

To help them organise what will be one of the most important days of their lives, the Fairfield House Hotel is putting on it’s annual Wedding Fayre between 11am and 4pm on Sunday 2 April, and this year’s promises to be the biggest and best ever.

There will be over 20 exhibitors, including the fabulous new Debenham’s store in Ayr, plus everything from cakes and flowers to photographers and beauticians, a chocolate fountain, and of course a bridal dress show with models constantly displaying their dresses around the hotel.

Dedicated specialists will be on hand to assist in your every wedding need, offering one-to-one consultations to help create the perfect wedding of your choice.

Organising the Fairfield House Hotel Wedding Fayre 2006 is Alexa Scott of Scottish Event Management, who says: "I would like to invite every prospective bride and groom and their families to come along and sample our spectacular champagne and canapés and view this season’s wedding must-haves.

"In the recently and magnificently refurbished Fairfield House Hotel we can show you the wedding of your dreams.

"On site wedding co-ordinators can help with any questions and the team at Scottish Event Management can point you in the right direction for anything from limousines to lingerie.

"With an open and free invitation to all we welcome you on Sunday 2nd April from 11am until 4 pm."

Fairfield House Hotel general manager Stuart Maxwell commented: "Your wedding day is the most important day of your life, and our services are geared to ensuring that it is the happy and memorable occasion that you will always look back upon with lasting pleasure.

"The Fairfield House Hotel takes pride in the personal attention we give to each wedding or celebration, and we are delighted to tailor each occasion to your individual wishes.

"The Fairfield Suite offers splendid surroundings in which to celebrate your special day, and our dedicated team aims to provide you and your guests with an unrivalled standard of comfort and hospitality.

"Allow us to assist you with the choice of menu, wines, seating arrangements, floral decorations, entertainment or any other requirements.

"A magnificent bridal suite with four-poster bed and jacuzzi is available, and special accommodation rates for guests attending your wedding can be arranged. Collect a copy of our wedding brochure and information pack at our Wedding Fayre 2006 on Sunday 2 April, or contact us and we'll send all the information to you.".

ABOUT THE FAIRFIELD HOUSE HOTEL

Standing proudly on the Ayrshire coastline, Fairfield House Hotel is a magnificent Victorian mansion which has recently been given a major refurbishment. Once the country home of a Glasgow tea merchant this is now a stunning seafront hotel.

The ground floor of the building, including the reception area, bar and restaurant has been completely renovated, creating a stylish but not ultra-modern look that blends in perfectly with the hotel’s striking exterior on the edge of Ayr’s Low Green, looking out over the Firth of Clyde to the romantic Isle of Arran.
