Public Schools can Waste 12 Years of Your Child’s Life

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Public school officials and politicians have failed to improve a rapidly deteriorating school system that is destroying the potential of the next generation, according to education researcher and author, Joel Turtel.

"Public schools deceive parents into thinking their kids are doing well when they are not. Our schools are crippling our children’s ability to read, and they actively destroy their natural love of learning," explained Turtel.

Turtel’s latest book "Public Schools, Public Menace: How Public Schools Lie to Parents and Betray Our Children," shows why many public schools have become so dangerous and such a waste of time for children.

In it he explains why over four million school children are given mind-altering drugs like Ritalin every day, and why desperate minority parents should not pin their hopes on vouchers, charter schools, or the No Child Left Behind Act.

He also tell parents how public schools indoctrinate children with anti-parent, anti-American, and anti-Judeo-Christian values.

"This book is a must-read for every parent. It is sad but true that the public school system in America threatens the values of families and the welfare of students. It is for that reason that Dr. James Dobson and I urge parents to take their children out of public school and either home-school or find private, traditionally religious schools," said Dr. Laura Schlessinger, internationally syndicated radio talk host, and author of: "Stupid Things Parents Do To Mess Up Their Kids"

Turtel does not just provide an indictment of the present public school system in America. His book does a wonderful job of showing parents that there are many alternatives to public schools, including Internet schools that can provide quality education that is directed and controlled by parents.
