SHENZHEN, China & LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17, 2005 - China Digital Communication Group (OTCBB: CHID), one of the fastest growing battery production companies in China, today announced that it has opened its first office in the United States. The Los Angeles-based office will serve as the new center of its operations in North America.

The Company's new U.S. office will be located at 1901 Avenue of the Stars, Suite 201, in Los Angeles. The opening of this new office is part of the Company's overall strategy to begin its penetration of the U.S. market for its battery shells and other products and to increase its exposure to the U.S. investment community.

"China Digital is raising its U.S. profile with at least two ends in view," said Sun Yibo, Chairman and CEO of China Digital Communication Group. "The first is to establish a toe-hold into the very lucrative U.S. market, which is in line with our strategy of establishing new revenue streams outside of China, while continuing to expand domestically. The second is to establish an investor relations office in the U.S. in an effort to make ourselves more accessible to investors and the financial media. We are well on-track to accelerate our growth trends in 2005 and look forward to communicating our achievements to Wall Street," concluded Mr. Yibo.

The Los Angeles office opening coincides with China Digital's move on February 12, 2005, to a larger production facility in Shenzhen. The Company's new plant provides it with 50% more factory space, which will enable it to raise production volume by more than 40%.
