This Is My America Songwriter Night To Be Held Feb. 23

Nearly two-dozen songwriters and performers from the This Is My America project will gather for a special songwriter's event at the Commodore Grille on Monday night, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m.

Songs will be performed chronologically on a variety of historical subjects, including the Underground Railroad, the California Gold Rush, the Civil War, the Great Depression, the emergence of Radio, journalist Daniel Pearl, Hurricane Katrina, 9/11 and many more.

Performers scheduled to appear: Rory Bourke, Thomas Cain, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Matt Dame, Steve Dean, Roxie Dean, Bill Flowerree, J Fred Knobloch, Sarah Majors, Tom McBryde, Wood Newton, David Pack, Tammy Rogers, Bill Shore, Jon Vezner, Jim Weatherly, Brian White, Lynn Wilbanks, Karyn Williams and David Wills.
