Kaenon® Polarized Sunglasses, the Southern California-based performance lifestyle eyewear brand known for their SR-91 lenses, is proud to announce a partnership with Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Hinano Clothing, Surftech Surfboards & Stand Up Paddle Boards, and Olukai Sandals to host SUP for a PUP – Stand Up Paddle for a Pup – a charity event designed to raise money for A Wish For Animals (AWFA) and find new homes for the overwhelming number of abandoned dogs in Southern California.

Conceptualized by Kaenon’s Chris Wyman and Erin Breeze, SUP for a PUP is an effort to raise awareness and generate funding for the growing number of homeless dogs in Southern California through a one-day Sample Sale event scheduled for April 25th at the Kaenon Polarized headquarters on 864 West 16th Street in Newport Beach, CA.

"A problem made worse by the economic downturn, there are a lot of newly abandoned dogs out there that need a good home," said Wyman. "Without a family to care for them, these dogs are getting euthanized and our goal with SUP for a PUP is to not only raise awareness of the problem, but to ultimately find every one of these really great dogs a new home," said Wyman.

With the goal of raising significant donations through SUP for a PUP, Kaenon Polarized has partnered with several surf and sports apparel companies to host a super-sized parking lot sample sale with a huge selection of amazing deals on Kaenon Polarized sunglasses and other great products and services from companies like Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Hinano Clothing, Surftech Surfboards & Stand Up Paddle Boards, Olukai Sandals, Surfline, Stand Up Journal, Pro Bar, Lara Bar and Sol Sunguard.

All of the participating companies will be donating a portion of their proceeds to AWFA and Wahoo’s will be selling tacos and drinks with 50% of the revenue going directly to AWFA.
