Mad Linx, the host of BET’s Rap City, goes one-on-one with Hot 97’s DJ Envy to talk about his much hyped "beef" with Power 105’s fallen morning host, Starr from the Starr and Buc Wild Show. In an exclusive interview for the Hip Hop community, Mad Linx is bringing you the complete lowdown with DJ Envy on Tuesday May 23rd and Wednesday May 24th at 5PM on BET.

Since joining Black Entertainment Television in 2005, Mad Linx has guided Rap City in becoming one of the top TV shows in reaching the important young adult market. Throughout his career, Mad Linx has proven not only to be ahead of the game, but often a trendsetter on the airwaves. This, along with previous accolades has made Mad Linx into a featured DJ par excellence. From the beginning of his career in Tampa, FL, to his ascension today, Mad Linx is an ever-growing, ever-changing talent who will be a major factor in the broadcast/entertainment arena for many years to come. Launching his career in 1994, Mad Linx has always strived to improve upon his natural talents in his personal mantra to be the very best.

But there is more to Mad Linx than just what people see on air. Not only is he a highly successful host, but an astute entrepreneur as demonstrated through his company that he started in 1998 called Tactics & Methods. This successful marketing, promotion and consulting business has attracted clients worldwide. Mad Linx has eloquently stated, "If you have no tactics & methods in life, you will never be successful."

DJ Envy, a two-time "Just-O Mix Tape" award recipient, has been a DJ for the past ten years. Sony recognized his talents early on and signed him and his affiliate label, Desert Storm Records. Beside his current stint at Hot 97, he is CEO of BLOK Entertainment that has produced tracks for artists such as DMX, Muderers, Funk Flex, Foxy Brown, Juvenile, Petey Pablo, Fabolous and many more. A mainstay on Hot 97 Sunday 5PM to 9pm and the Morning Show M-F from 6AM to 10AM, DJ Envy has a notable reputation as mixologists supreme, as well as a popular on-air personality.
