Jacksonville FOP donates $45,000 to PAL

Jacksonville, Fl.-- PAL (Police Athletic League) in Jacksonville is having it's annual donor appreciation dinner on May 16, 2005, at the PAL facility on McCormick Rd. The event starts at 6:00 P.M. and the Jacksonville FOP(Fraternal Order of Police) is going to present Sheriff Rutherford with a check for $45,000.00 thousand dollars that was raised as a result of Guns n' Hoses.

Nelson Cuba President of the Fraternal Order of Police stated "It is always a great thing when as police officers we can give back to the community, and this is only a small part of what this organization donates to different charities every year."
