Allergies are arguably the plague of our times. One in three of the UK population now has an allergy, according to the Royal College of Physicians.

"Over 60% of people who say they have sensitive skin, are probably using everyday products that contain chemicals that are harmful to their skin." Says Birmingham business woman, Clare Preston.

Managing an allergic condition is rarely just a question of being prescribed the right medicines. Finding and minimising all the factors in the environment that trigger allergy problems is crucial.

Over 60% of people who say they have sensitive skin, are probably using everyday products that contain chemicals that are harmful to their skin."

Mrs Preston is planning to make a difference to allergy sufferers' lives, by supplying products made by organic producer Perle de Provence - who specialise in skincare products for people with eczema, psoriasis and dry and sensitive skin.

"For many sufferers, this has already been the answer to their prayers", she told us.
"The products are fantastic - one customer has never been able to use shampoo before without her hands stinging! These products will make a real difference to people's lives".

Perle de Provence will be officially launching their range at the 2nd Allergy Show - the only event of its kind, which will take place at Olympia in London, from 17 to 19 June 2005. The Allergy Show is a unique opportunity for people to find solutions to help manage their or their children's allergies and improve their quality of life.
