Virtual Tales, an e-publisher of serialized novels and novellas spanning a variety of fiction genres and styles, announced the latest additions to its collection of genre-based serialized novels, which will soon be available for readers to enjoy.

"In advance of our ‘Freedom from Paper’ promotion scheduled for the weekend of July 1st-4th, we are announcing the latest serialized novels to join the Virtual Tales family," said Dave A. Law, Chairman of Virtual Tales. "All of these serials will be available for selection as prizes for this promotion, and of course, for regular subscription by readers everywhere."

The new stories to be added to the Virtual Tales line-up include THE BURNING, a murder mystery by Australian author Jackie Tritt. Bushfire sweeps through the peaceful Australian town of Pelican East, leaving death and destruction in its wake. But why is veteran officer Alan Foster so uneasy about one of the wildfire deaths?

Under the category of general fiction is FIRST COMMUNION: A COLLECTION OF MODERN IRISH STORIES by renowned Irish author Jack Scoltock. This serialized anthology will give readers a rare glimpse of everyday life in modern Northern Ireland. Visit the small towns and byways and see how everyday people live, love and thrive in the midst of religious and political strife.

Finally, Virtual Tales is pleased to offer two popular westerns that were originally available through KeepitComing.net. THE LAST GUNFIGHTER, by Stephen Paul, is loosely based on the true story of Cattle Kate and her husband (who were hanged as cattle rustlers from a cottonwood tree near the Sweetwater River in the late 1800's). This serial is told from the viewpoint of a fictional U.S. deputy marshal named John Bronson, who must make a final stand with the Stock Grower’s Association.

The serial ROUGH JUSTICE, by Lee Pierce, was originally titled BLOOD OF THE DRAGON LADY during its run on KeepitComing.net. The best brothel in Texas is torched and some of the working girls are kidnapped by the assailants – including Silver Jack McDonald’s only love. It’s up to Jack and his vigilante posse to deal out some Texas-style rough justice.

Virtual Tales is a privately held partnership founded in December 2005 to deliver serialized fiction via e-mail to its subscribers through its website, www.VirtualTales.com. It offers serialized novels in both general and genre fiction for prices starting at 39¢ per issue. The stories are delivered through email twice a week as PDF (Adobe Acrobat) files suitable for reading on a PC, Mac, PDA, e-reader or other devices with e-mail capabilities. All stories are available for a free trial subscription, so readers everywhere are encouraged to visit the website and sample the offerings at no cost or obligation.
