MacDonalds has the golden arch. MSN has the butterfly. The connection between these two corporations: They are examples of company logos or emblems that companies use to identify itself from other competitors and for customers to readily identify their products. At Hand Productions’ new logo combines the color red with angular edges to portray ideas that its creator Andrew Hanna envisioned. When ask as to what inspired him to create this emblem Hanna responded with "I’ve had an interest in Celtic and Chinese symbols. At Hand Productions’ new emblem combines the best of both worlds with a little something extra. The new logo took a few months to conceive and design. But in the end, I feel it represents At Hand Productions at its best. strength, structure, growth, balance, and determination are what describes At Hand Productions."

When one examines the emblem in detail, one will see that there are three distinctive areas. The top fragment is similar to a two-point crown and the bottom portion is a triangle that is reminiscence of an arrow. Between the crown and arrow, are interwoven lines, which Hanna says "represents the combination of man and woman and how both need each other to survive just as the emblem needs the lines to hold itself upright. When one divides the emblem into three sections, they are from the Chinese symbology for sky, man, and earth. These aspects of sky, man, and earth in conjunction represent the notion that all three aspects are both individual and indivisible. When one gives their attention to the center, where the interwoven lines are, one will see four spaces, which represent each of the four elements, earth, water, wind, fire. The colors are pertinent as well. Red represents blood and passion and black is for mystery."

At Hand Productions’ emblem is bold and straightforward. It stands out amongst other emblems in that it has depth and is rich in design. At Hand Productions is developing a reputation in the Philadelphia concert and theatrical industry for performances that push the boundaries of entertainment.

Although many corporations do not incorporate hidden symbolism into their corporate emblem, many will be drawn to At Hand Productions emblem.
