Cincom Systems’ President and CEO, Thomas Nies, will be welcoming guests at the 2005 Cincom Manufacturing Conference, Accelerate. On Monday, May 23, 2005, Nies will present the topic Welcome: The Impact of Technology on Operational Excellence, and shortly thereafter, Jim Shepherd, vice-president of research at AMR Research, will present Best Practices in Operational Excellence: Keys to Success.

Before joining AMR Research, he was director of product strategy at Avalon Software, an enterprise business systems developer for Fortune 1000 companies. Shepherd speaks frequently at industry trade conferences and is widely quoted in leading business and industry trade publications.
