Trainer1 offers Raptivity Version 3

A significantly updated, SCORM-compatible version (version 3) of Raptivity - the world's first rapid interactivity builder, which allows users to build the kind of interactive e-learning that gets learners completely engaged with the learning materials – is now available from Trainer1, a Raptivity re-seller and one of the UK’s leading independent e-learning specialists.

"Raptivity used to output a set of files – initially ‘dll’ files and then, in version 2, ‘dat’ file. Now it outputs a single Flash file, which is much simpler and increases its compatibility," said Neil Lasher, Trainer1’s managing director.

Raptivity is compatible with all authoring tools and provides a unique library of rapidly-customisable interaction models. These interaction models are pre-built, captivating learning experiences that are instructionally sound, easily embeddable, as well as professionally designed, engaging, involving and fun.

The library of interaction models lets users build challenging brainteasers, compelling visuals and attractive presentation elements with ease.

Users – who require minimal learning about the product and absolutely no previous programming skills - can create instructionally sound software simulations with little effort. Users can even build comprehensive learner surveys quickly.

Raptivity – the name is a corruption of the words ‘Rapid Interactivity’ - has been developed by Harbinger Knowledge Products, of Pune. It plays straight from an internet browser and requires no proprietary plug-ins.

The earlier versions of Raptivity cost some £1,200 but the basic Raptivity 3 software – which includes 32 ‘core interactions’ – retails at just £425. For further details, contact Trainer1.
