Kids ‘R’ Kids Event Raises More Than $7,500 For Make-A-Wish Foundation Of Eastern North Carolina

Kids ‘R’ Kids Schools of Quality Learning in Cary, Morrisville and Research Triangle Park ( have announced that "Care Fest," a family festival that took place at NetSports in Morrisville on Oct. 17, raised more than $7,500 to benefit a Durham child through the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Eastern North Carolina, exceeding the original goal of $5,500. The event featured the Carolina Hurricanes’ mascot, Stormy, and the Durham Bulls’ mascot, Wooly, as well as a fire truck, clowns, and a variety of games and food.

"We are so pleased to have met our donation goal to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation," said Julie Moye, co-owner of Kids ‘R’ Kids of Cary, Morrisville and Research Triangle Park. "We want to thank everyone who came to Care Fest and helped make this event a huge success. We also want to thank all the volunteers who worked so hard to make this event special."

- "Care Fest" featured a variety of games, including soccer, bounce houses, basketball, ring toss and cornhole, as well as face painting, inflatables and food.

- "Care Fest" partners included Kids ‘R’ Kids, NetSports, Care More, Planet Smoothie and Fun Bounce-4-All Rentals.

- This was the first ever "Care Fest" event in Morrisville.

- Kids ‘R’ Kids of Cary is locally owned by Brooks and Julie Moye. The Moyes co-own Kids ‘R’ Kids of Durham with partner Lynn Rasmussen and the Morrisville location with Van and Juanita Hogan.
